Om forestillingen

With young talents on the opera scene, different expressions and a demand for new formats and working methods open up. But what is the challenge for producers, composers, instructors and, in particular, the young talents, to make it all the the way?
Opera expresses itself in a wide variety of aesthetic languages, and there are many possibilities to "shine". The seminar presents three different examples with young people on stage in opera formats developing the artistic potential of young talents. Meet composer Michael Betteridge from UK, composer of GrowOP! festival’s opening show New Beginnings, devised for and with young talent from Opera North (UK) and TalentU from Danish National Opera/Den Jyske Opera, Flemming Vistisen, Artistic Director of Opera in the Middle and conductor at the world premiere of Snow White by American Paul Schwartz, Lene Juul Langballe, leader of TalentU at Danish National Opera and a young member of TalentU.
